With Verizon Wireless’s recent announcement of expansion in Central PA and across the country, it is widening its lead in 4G LTE coverage over the other carriers. This matters because the leap from 3G (and what some carriers have misleadingly called 4G) opens up a whole new world for mobile business functionality. Combined with the proliferation of tablets and continued growth of smartphones, 4G LTE technology is changing the way companies do business.
Verizon Wireless announced that 4G LTE coverage is now available in the cities of Lebanon, Annville, Palmyra and Myerstown. IT has also been expanded around Mount Holly Springs, near Harrisburg. These additions are part of an ongoing nationwide expansion that now brings Verizon Wireless 4G LTE service to 230 markets, and more soon.
